The Delaware County Tactical Unit is offering the following class:

Advanced Patrol Tactics (APT)

Who may attend: Delaware County Law Enforcement Officer, max of 20 officers per session

Why you want to attend:  To educate Law Enforcement Professionals on the capabilities of the tactical unit and other advanced training and tactics, allowing for a better outcome in unknown and high-risk situations.

Topics include:

  • Self-Aid/Buddy-Aid
  • High-Threat Room Clearing
  • Vehicle Occupant Extraction
  • Downed Officer/Citizen Recovery
  • Containment Procedures-Barricaded Subject

          *Note: Lunch is not provided.  Participants will be given 45 minutes for lunch.

Attire:  Please dress appropriately for the weather, as the training will be conducted outside at times.  Participants do not need to wear their assigned uniform and can wear the appropriate training attire.  All participants are required to bring their full duty belt, vest, firearm, and clear eye protection.
