The Delaware County Tactical Unit is offering the following class:

Advanced Patrol Tactics (APT) (Level II)

Who may attend: Delaware County Law Enforcement Officers who have successfully completed Advanced Patrol Tactics Level I,  max of 20 officers per session

Why you want to attend: To build upon tactics and techniques learned in APT Level I and pressure test the skills in reality-based force-on-force scenarios.

Topics include:

  • High-Threat Room Clearing
  • Vehicle Occupant Extraction

When: 1 day (8 hour) trainings will be held on the following 2020 dates and times.  Click the date to check availability and to register.

May 12 (1400-2200)
September 9 (0800-1600)
November  (0800-1600)

Cost:  Free*
          *Note: Lunch is not provided.  Participants will be given 45 minutes for lunch.

Attire: Please dress appropriately for the weather, as the training will be conducted outside at times.  Participants do not need to wear their assigned uniform and can wear the appropriate training attire. All participants are required to bring their full duty belt and clear eye protection.  If you have access to force-on-force protective gear, you are welcome to bring it.  If not, gear will be provided.
